The Origami tile set combines the traditional essence of our Classic tile set with a modern twist. These tiles feature a darker and more muted color palette along with beautiful symbols and icons.

The tile set comes with your choice of a custom sized lucite display box that is just the right size for this beautiful set OR a two tone color-block velvet tile bag. Each tile set comes with two dice and a tile guide that shows all of the tile designs on one side and some things to remember about the game of mahjong on the other side, just in case you need a quick refresh.

  • Luxury layered acrylic tiles with hand painted custom designs.

Size:

  • Each tile measures 1.25" X 0.9" X 0.5"
  • Acrylic box measures 10" X 6" X 3"
  • Velvet tile bag measures 14" X 8"

Set includes:

  • 160 tiles (36 bams, 36 craks, 36 dots, 8 flowers, 16 winds, 12 dragons, 10 jokers, 6 blanks). Remove 2 jokers and 6 blanks for National Mah Jongg League play.

Mahjong Set, Lucite Box, Racks and Mat

I think the tiles are beautiful with a nice feel and excellent graphics. I am a little disappointed in the rack. The plastic is very lightweight and easily shifts around on the mat. I also wish the 'pusher' detached from the rack so it offered more flexibility moving the wall to the center of the table, especially for the dealer who needs to move only part of their wall for the start of play. I thought I would use the lucite box to transport the tiles but I think it is too heavy and bulky for that. I wish I had realized that before I ordered.
